G-SHOCK from the GRAVITYMASTER collection at TIME TREND

There has been no such watch in the Japanese brand collection yet! Super light, extremely flexible, but at the same time indecently durable. All thanks to the carbon fibre used to make the model. This unique material has been appreciated for years, inter alia in the aviation industry, where it is used to construct cockpits. Why? Carbon fibre is characterized by a very thin weave, which affects its low weight while increasing strength to a number of adverse factors. These include resistance to high temperatures (including fire), mechanical injuries or stretching, to which composites are exposed when dealing with overloads at very high altitudes. These unique features and the original appearance of the fibre make it a much more expensive material than e.g. steel. It is no wonder then that it is considered as prestigious material in the world of construction and engineering.
The new GRAVITYMASTER GWR-B1000 watch is a perfect design. Both the envelope and the strap are entirely made of carbon fibre. Japanese designers strongly emphasized maximum weight reduction of the watch, which is why they used one more unusual treatment. The model has had completely eliminated lid – the envelope consists of only one element, which further offset its weight. Thus, the new GRAVITYMASTER is the lightest watch in the G-SHOCK Master of G. family.
In addition to the meticulous approach to the technological qualities of the project, the engineers also focused on creating a completely new, unique style in GWR-B1000. The goal was achieved thanks to the strong exposure of buttons and crown. Massive, significantly protruding from the envelope, boost the “strong character” and the predatory style of the whole form.
During the flight, every second is at a premium. Therefore, GWR-B1000 is also an extremely accurate timer. All thanks to the Wave Ceptor function – synchronization with the atomic clock. GRAVITYMASTER updates the time up to six times a day, which guarantees the accuracy of the time indication.

The new sky-high GWR-B1000 is the first G-SHOCK with such unique features – both technological and designer. The watch has the least weight in the collection and at the same time the greatest resistance – it is the most durable timepiece in the G family. This is another project in the 36-year brand career, in which Japanese engineers rise to the heights of technological development!
